“ We had the most beautiful valentines meal in the vic tonight. Both the food and service was outstanding, as usual. Such a warm and welcoming environment. Our favourite place to eat out by far. ”
“ This was the best sunday roast ive ever had IN MY LIFE!!! Half a herby chicken, delicious thick gravy, mash, roast tatties, all the veggies. The vibe was unreal- fruit and vegetables growing everywhere, music, little coves outside to chill in. Honestly loved everything about this place. I would travel hours to eat here again. ”
“ Went for a Sunday dinner, first time I've been and found the place comfortable atmosphere and the food was great.. Staff were great. ”
“ Really good staff super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing first time their but will not be the last time. Pizza was really tasty and fresh and the chips as well. Onion rings perfectly done and the garlic was amazing. The salad was really fresh. The portion sizes are really good and the quality is 10/10. The prices are really good for the quality of food you get i would expect to pay more. ”
“ As always, amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. We rarely have the Sunday dinners, but on this occasion we filled our boots with the haggis wellington, and veggie roast. Really tasty meals, haggis was nicely spiced, paired well with the peppercorn sauce, roasted chestnuts and the chive mash topped it off. Beautifully presented. The veggie roast was presented well, lovely gravy, soft veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Would always recommend to Vic to anyone in Low Fell, foods always top notch, staff are friendly and welcoming. Foods always served quick and hot, dogs are allowed, TV/Music is always playing. What more could you want. Thanks again To the staff, thanks Gary for the amazing food ;) Ethan Sophie ”
“ The food was lovely. Very filling. More dishes that are both Gluten Free and vegetarian would be great. Other than that, very happy with the service atmosphere and food. Thank you. ”
“ Stopped for a late lunch after visiting the Angel of the North - fantastic quirky pub/restaurant with brilliant decor and atmosphere. Amazing value too - super reasonable prices and tasty food. Gutted we don't live closer, we'd be here every week! ”
“ We arrived for our 3.30pm booking on Mother’s Day really not knowing what to expect. After purchasing an initial drink we headed to the restaurant area. The ambiance was so welcoming and all staff were extremely friendly. After such a busy day , it was great to receive such exemplary service and food alike. In many establishments, so late in the day, I doubt this would have been the case. We ordered the ribs for starters and rotisserie lamb, mince and dumplings for mains. All absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and served promptly and in such a friendly way, nothing was too much trouble for everyone involved. Our experience at the Queen Victoria was faultless. We would highly recommend for location, food quality and service. We will certainly be visiting again. Thank you. ”
